Adrienne Baker

Adrienne is an experienced Senior Associate Solicitor specialising exclusively in family law, with over 16 years’ experience advising and representing clients through a wide range of family matters. Having studied part time to qualify, she was admitted as a solicitor in 2016 and spent the first ten years of her legal career with Forbes Solicitors.

She is a member of the Law Society’s Advanced Family Panel and recognised as a Recommend Lawyer in the legal 500. These appointments reflect her technical expertise, practical approach and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients.

She advises and represents clients across the full spectrum of private family law, supporting individuals and families through relationship breakdown and helping them navigate complex legal and personal issues with confidence.

Her practice includes divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings, negotiated financial settlements, consent orders, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation agreements.

She has extensive experience in private law children matters and regularly represents parents and other family members in disputes concerning where children should live, the time they spend with each parent, parental responsibility, relocation within England and Wales and applications to permanently relocate children abroad, specific issue and prohibited steps applications, and disputes relating to parentage. She also has considerable experience in complex children cases involving allegations of parental alienation, domestic abuse, and cases requiring fact-finding hearings.

Adrienne regularly represents clients throughout court proceedings, from the initial application through to final hearings, and she has significant experience working on cases involving Cafcass and local authority children’s services. Adrienne is skilled in managing cases where safeguarding concerns are raised and in presenting evidence in complex and emotionally sensitive disputes.

A significant part of Adrienne’s practice involves supporting clients who have experienced domestic abuse. She acts swiftly to obtain protective injunctions, including non-molestation and occupation orders, and advise clients on the wider family law issues that often arise alongside abuse, including child arrangements and financial matters. She understands the urgency and sensitivity of these cases and works closely with clients to ensure they feel supported while securing the protection they need.
