Before joining WR as one of our solicitor apprentices, Ruby previously worked in retail, where she helped as part of a team to provide a high standard of customer support, replenished and rotated stock on the shelves, prepared and packed orders, performed opening and closing duties & occasionally assisted with cleaning duties.

Here at Watson Ramsbottom, she attends meetings, provides advice to clients in relation to legal matters, organises files, and prepares reports, all while ensuring that confidentiality is upheld.

Ruby also draft contracts, attends court hearings, and prepares documents for cases, supported by legal research. She also liaises with solicitors, clients and the courts, all while attending weekly sessions at university.

Ruby has a cockerspaniel called Holly and enjoys playing football. Her usual position is left midfield, but she doesn’t mind where she plays, as long as it’s not in defence! Ruby also is a self-confessed foodie, naming Italian as her favourite type of food.
